About Me

I have loved baking since I can remember. As a child, I was the proud owner of an Easy Bake Oven, and I often experimented making cakes and cookies in my teens. My younger brother once joked that he got in on the ground floor of my baking endeavors…but it was more like the basement! His comment wasn’t far off, as my initial baking ‘experiments’ were more like something found in Dr. Frankenstein’s lab than delectable treats.

Tenacity and passion prevailed. My love of baking remained and my experiments improved (as my younger brother, now often a happy recipient of my culinary creations, will attest). As my culinary skills increased, my love of baking blossomed to included savory endeavors as well as sweet.

Now, I enjoy reading blogs and cookbooks in order to find fabulous recipes; many of these recipes are tweaked to be my own! As such, I will always share my sources of inspiration to give credit where credit is due…adding my own tips, tricks, and tweaks along the way.

I’m excited for this next step of the journey, and I’m thrilled for you to share some of it with me.
